AEI Limited has developed, over a 17-year period, the AEI Bio tree through a breeding process involving various tree species within the Scrophulariaceae family with no genetic modification or artificial manipulation. AEI Bio tree is one of the fastest growing, regenerating, pollution-clearing tree in the world. It is fire resistant, drought and cold-tolerant and suitable for hard environments with minimum water requirements.

AEI Bio tree regrows, reaching heights of 7-8 meters per annum in the years following the first harvest, thus rapidly restoring attractive forestation and yielding more cellulosic feedstock at future harvests.
AEI Bio trees are more environmentally friendly than other plantations’ trees as they regrow from their own stumps and do not leave the soil leached of nutrients. The tree has the ability to clean 50% more pollution by maximizing the intake of Carbon Dioxide through its unique composition of three leaves per row.
